QBE Insurance Pet Industry
To launch and build awareness, a direct mail campaign was required.
We developed promotions for this remarkable product. Working with an existing logo, we created a fun, friendly and informative campaign for
a target audience that included pet shop owners, cattery and kennel operators, groomers, minders, trainers and breeders.
Objectives included generating sound leads and achieving up to
30% acceptance.
A witty parallel between a pet lead and a lead to a better insurance policy was incorporated into a brochure for this new package. Supported by postcards that depicted dogs speaking a playful message on the front, qualified by detailed information on the back, Barker Meier was positioned as the leading pet industry insurer with, ‘When it comes to Pet Industry insurance you can trust a Barker!’
As a result, the campaign led to a highly successful uptake on this insurance for Barker Meier and, ultimately, a successful launch for underwriters QBE and Steadfast.
